Background:
The Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon, started in 1997, has grown to become one of the city’s largest community events with new record of entries every year. It has attracted 70,000 entries in 2012.
Being one of the most exciting activities in the international sporting calendar, it has also been recognized as a “Brand Hong Kong Event” by the Government of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
