Abstract:
Rosamund Kwan is a renowned Hong Kong actress, and widely known as the Venus of Hong Kong. Kwan was acclaimed by US magazine PEOPLE to be one of the 50 most beautiful ladies in the world in 1998.

Despite her announcement of a halt in the showbiz career in 2007, Kwan had never stopped spending time and efforts in charitable work. Besides helping out in charitable functions, she took part in the events of charitable sale of second-hand costumes to raise fund for school construction in Guizhou and Tibet of the Mainland. In the 2008 Sichuan Earthquake, Kwan extended her boundless love and showed her real efforts to the victims by generously spending a considerable amount of $2 million in the purchase of quality tents and antiseptic products and as a voluntary worker hand-delivering them to the earthquake sufferers, besides the donation of hundreds of suitable clothes and shoes.
