Abstract:
Miriam Yeung is a Hong Kong actress and Cantonpop singer. She entered the entertainment industry after coming third in the TVB 14th annual New Talent Singing Awards competition in 1995, and has steadily gained popularity ever since and won numerous music and best singer awards. On her acting career, Yeung’s greatest critical achievement to date came in 2005 when she was nominated for Best Actress in Leading Role at the Golden Horse Film Festival and Awards for her character, Fung Siu-Man, in the comedy DRINK, DRANK, DRUNK.

Yeung has actively participating in charitable activities. She has been appointed as ambassador of many charities, including Pok Oi Hospital, World Vision, UNAIDS, Orbis, Po Leung Kuk, China Red Cross, UNICEF, Cancer Fund, Hong Kong Parkinson’s Disease Foundation, Otic Foundation, and many others.
