The purpose of Wai Yin’s existence is to give and do charitable works. They seek to serve the community by helping others less fortunate than ourselves to attain a better life; this in turn gives one’s life ‘value’. Moreover, charitable actions benefit one’s life by cultivating compassion – a spiritual value. The work of Wai Yin is a ‘labour of compassion’.

Whilst Wai Yin focuses on philanthropy and individual social responsibility, it provides a worthy platform for corporate sponsors to engage in works of charity and to exercise corporate social responsibility. The funds raised from annual projects benefit organizations whose mission is to make a difference in the lives of people in need.
