Organisation: Go.Asia, Food Revolution Asia & Jamie’s Italian HK
Jamie’s Italian HK supported the 5th Food Revolution Activities with a public day of fun games and challenges on 29 May. First of all, a special “Eat Smart Little Chef” Pizza making workshop are open for public participation from 10-11am. 20 pairs of little chef teams formed by an adult and a kid (aged 6-12) joined the chef from Jamie’s Italian HK to make their own Green Salad and creative Pizza with natural ingredients.
From 11am-1.30pm, hundreds of families with their children participated our Mini Carnival for FREE! Through the 4 mini games, including “What the Real Food is”, “Love Herbs”, “Sugar Monster” as well as “Making Soda”, they learnt how the smallest changes in diet can affect their well-being.
Special Promotion by Jamie’s Italian Hong Kong
Order Salmon & Pesto-dressed Vegetables to support local food education
To further support Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution, Jamie’s Italian Hong Kong created a special dish that best represents the fundamentals of the global movement. The dish, Salmon & Pesto-dressed Vegetables, rich in omega-3 and vitamin D, offers a new alternative to the other flavourful and nutritious dishes offered on the restaurant’s a la carte menu. For every Salmon dish ordered in the month of May, Jamie’s Italian will contribute HKD 10 to Hong Kong’s Food Revolution organisation, which will go into funding the children’s nutritional awareness program in public schools. On the 20th and 29th May, Jamie’s Italian in both Causeway Bay and Harbour City will run a KIDS EAT FOR FREE promotion. Throughout the day, with every adult main ordered, children under 12 receive a free meal.
