Actor Elijah Woods, discussed in an interview with HuffPost live about his thoughts and feelings of Monsanto-a company that supported the “No on Prop 37” campaign in California. (Prop 37 is a Mandatory Labeling of Genetically Engineered Food Initiative that requires retailers, and food companies to label products that are made with genetically modified ingredients (GMO).)

Wood spoke out about Monsanto being a “scary organization” and the basic rights for human race to know what is going into their food. He noted that roughly fifty countries around the world have started labeling their foods for GMO; whereas, in California (USA), we failed to pass GMO labelling.  “It’s a little scary that there’s a giant corporation that seems to have a lot of control in that regard,” he added.
