Abstract:
Chuang Shih-ping (20 January 1911– 2 June 2007), GBM, a renowned figure in Hong Kong. Founder of Nanyang Commercial Bank Limited and Banco Nan Tung.

Chuang was Vice-Chairman of All China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, a Hong Kong deputy to the 2nd – 6th National People’s Congress and a member of the 7th – 9th Standing Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference National Committee. He was awarded the Grand Bauhinia Medal in 1997 by the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government.

Chuang was the leader of various organizations, including the Honorary Chairman of Worldwide United Chinese Association, President of Hong Kong Culture Association, etc. His contribution toward the development of China and Hong Kong is well recognized.
