Abstract:
Li Na is a Chinese professional tennis player. Li has won 5 WTA and 19 ITF singles titles. Li won the 2011 French Open singles title, making her the first Asian country representative to win a Grand Slam in singles. She had been the first player from an Asian country to appear in a Grand Slam singles final with her performance at the 2011 Australian Open.

In May 2010, she donated nearly RMB 500,000, the prize award she won in Crown Tournament in Madrid, to Qinghai Yushu. Then, she donated a million dollar to China Children and Teenager Funds, for the construction of recreation center and sport grounds to orphans and disabled children in Wuhan. She said: “Children are our future, yet, looking at these poor kids, who lost their family, suffered from illness, I feel really sad. If they can receive more concern by the public, assist and support them, in one day when they have grown up, they would definitely contribute back to the community’
