1. What is the goal of this exhibition?
Since 2012, Go.Asia has been promoting health and food education by initiating a series of “Food Revolution” activities around Hong Kong, with a mission to highlight the importance of healthy eating and living.

Among the many global food-related issues, addressing food wastage is one of Go.Asia’s main focuses. In 2013, Go.Asia was invited by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) as a local partner to promote the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) global food waste reduction programme – “Think. Eat. Save. Reduce Your Footprint “. In addition, Go.Asia actively promotes local organic farming, and advocates food production and nutrition education. Go.Asia hopes to inspire everyone to value food resources, make the right food choices, and work together towards sustainable development.

Air, water and food are the essential elements that keep us alive. Through this exhibition, Go.Asia invites us to consider how we may incorporate LOHAS into our daily lives by examining how our lifestyle affects our health and our planet Earth.

2. Why is Go.Asia bringing the “One-Third” exhibition to Hong Kong?
Through the partnership with FAO last year, Go.Asia was introduced to Klaus Pichler’s “One-Third” project, a provocative photographic commentary that explores the connection between the individual wastage of food and globalised food production

Food wastage is a not only a global issue, it is also a pressing social concern in Hong Kong. This collective responsibility is shared across the government, industries, society and individuals. Go.Asia recognises the need to advance this important dialogue and is proud to bring “One-Third” , with the approval of FAO and Pichler, to Hong Kong.

Go.Asia is honored to have full support from K11 Arts Mall, the venue, partner and co-sponsor for this exhibition.
