· The food waste among European Union reached 89 million tonnes per year

· The annual food waste in the EU at approximately 179kg per person
· 50% edible food was wasted by families, supermarket, restaurants and food supplier in European Union every year

· Food waste will growth 40% by the year of 2020 if no changes made
· There is 16 million people need food aid in Europe
