Sports for Peace hosted a charity dinner honoring and celebrating Muhammad Ali during the 2012 London Olympic game.

The gala was honored Ali for his lifelong fight for Civil Rights, Humanity and Peace. The Former Formula 1 World-champion Lewis Hamilton presented the “sports for peace honorary award 2012” to the first ever 3-times world heavyweight champion and winner of the gold medal at the 1960 Olympic Games in Rome.

The gala took place at the Victoria and Albert museum. The evening started with a reception in one of London’s most beautiful gardens and was followed by a black-tie gala dinner and ceremony in the prestigious Raphael gallery.
