Background：The Big Bird Race (BBR) is WWF’s longest-running flagship event, raising funds for conservation since 1983. The funds raised from this event will directly contribute to the conservation work in Mai Po Marshes Wildlife Education Centre and Nature Reserve which in 1995 was listed as a “Wetland of International Importance” under the Ramsar Convention.
