Dr Tin Ka-ping, GBM, MBE, a renowned entrepreneur and philanthropist in Hong Kong.
As one of Hong Kong’s leading entrepreneur, Dr Tin has made significant contributions to the community. Dr Tin was the Director of Pok Oi Hospital and Tung Wah Group of Hospitals. Currently, he also acts as the consultant of Yan Oi Tong and supports many other charities, such as Po Leung Kuk, The Community Chest, Salvation Army, Chung Sing Benevolent Society, etc. In 1982, Dr Tin has established Tin Ka Ping Foundation, which aims to promote Chinese culture and ethic education, and to provide funding for the development of education, medical, hygiene, entertainment, infrastructures, etc., in Hong Kong as well as Mainland China.
