Background: ORBIS has been saving sight around the world for 30 years, our DC-10 plane is soon to be decommissioned. ORBIS will encourage everyone to pull together in the run up to October 11, World Sight Day. The ultimate aim is to upgrade to a new generation Flying Eye Hospital in 2013 that will greatly expand our sight saving footprint and ability to bring hope to the needy.
